The Quran says:

“And whatsoever of affliction which befalls on you is owing to that which your hands earned; and He pardons much.”

- (Surah Ash-Shura - 30) -

The Middle East region hit by the worst drought in modern times. Water scarcity is becoming a source of increasing conflict between countries in the Middle East and North Africa, leading analysts to predict an increase in future wars and billions of dollars in direct and indirect damage to the region’s economies.

The Qur’an also says:

"Allah does not change the condition of a people until they change their own condition "

-(Ar-Ra`d 13:11)-
