99 Bottles of Beer On The Wall - & Then Some!

Buddhist monks from Thailand’s Sisaket province collected one million bottles to build the Wat Pa Maha Chedi Kaew temple. They used a mix of green Heineken and brown local Chang beer bottles.
They started collecting the bottles in the 1980’s, and over time had acquired nearly a million of them. They decided that something had to be done with them, and that using the bottles as a building material seemed the perfect solution.

After asking local government agencies and citizens for more of the bottles, they were able to product 1.5 million, and got to work. The result was a large complex with a main temple, guest bathrooms, prayer rooms, a tower, a crematorium, and more. They even created vast mosaics of Buddha out of the collected beer caps.

They hope to continue with the project.

“The more bottles we get, the more buildings we make,” Abbot San Kataboonyo said.

Once again, proving Alex Steffen’s point that there is no such thing as garbage, just useful stuff in the wrong place!

Wycleff hails from one of the most dangerous slums in the world but he clearly believes charity begins at home...literally.

“I have been spending a lot of time talking with people in my native country to try and understand what is behind these statistics and the past escalation of violence, all of which brings tears to my eyes. I have had conversations with gang leaders, met with the police officers and sat down with the leaders of the militias and the army. I have talked with Haitians from all walks of life, all colors of skin, all backgrounds and beliefs. From all these people I hear only one thing in my head and feel only one thing in my heart–that there is only one Haiti. Every Haitian loves their country like a mother loves her child."

It's mother's day back in the middle east and that's when we celebrate it even though I make it my personal mission to let her know just how precious she really is every single day startin with her favourite mug of coffee... *yeah right* - sigh - I'm an ingrate (T_T)

Will she ever know?
how deeply i feel for her
I wake up thankin God He gave me life inside her
so pure and unprofane she taught me to love myself
said that faith is my greatest wealth
and with faith i found my mother's worth
but will she ever know?

Side note -*gasp* - Be-yoo-ti-FOL!

If you are the dreamer, I am what you dream.
But when you want to wake, I am your wish,
and I grow strong with all magnificence
and turn myself into a star’s vast silence
above the strange and distant city, Time.

Sleeper Cell

I LOVE this snippet & this show!!

Here's the story the Imam spoke about with regard to Ali (RA):

Ali & The Giant

...according to Newton's 3 Laws of Motion

Let's get creative...

First Law (Lets say - Mind):

Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it.

Life will stay the same unless you allow change to come in. Take advantage of opportunities, be inspired. Don't let indecisivness paralyze you!

Second Law (Body):

The relationship between an object's mass m, its acceleration a, and the applied force F is F = ma. Acceleration and force are vectors (as indicated by their symbols being displayed in slant bold font); in this law the direction of the force vector is the same as the direction of the acceleration vector.

How much do you want it? & How fast do you want to get it?...IT can be different things in life...but the relation between your will and your force are the same! The more you want it, the more likely you'll get it! GO FOR IT!
Third Law (& Soul):

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

The greater the challenge, the greater the obstacles. In other words, don’t expect it to be easy. People will stand in your way and give you nothing but negativity but it's up to you to have the equal amount of positivity to cancel it all out.

Right Now...

"I choose not the suffocating anesthetic of the suburbs but the violent jolt of the capital. That is my choice"

- The Hours

Brilliant Movie!!

Anyway...Yeah, I urgently need to get outta here. I don't really live in the suburbs but dammit it might as well be one. I can safely say I know everyone. It aint a small town or anything infact it's a big city but everything is just too familiar. More than I'd like it to be...this kinda stuff is ok when you're a child. But when you're grown...it's like GET OUTTA MA FACE BIATCH!

Sorry for the profanity..but I will NOT take that back!!

Moving on....

I'm ready for a lil' dosage of my fav CITY - London!

Here I come baby!!

Louis C.K!

- LOL -

I couldn't have said it better myself albeit I may be one of the (as he beautifully put it) ''crappiest generation''...I'm one of the few always grateful for these technological advances!

No purpose or place!

"We're the middle children of history man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War's a spiritual war...our Great Depression is our lives."

-Fight Club

Hatt *sizzlin'*movie...watched it with my brother...AGAIN!

But this quote really spoke to me...that defines us. I mean there is no GREAT war...just alotta insignificant ones here and there unfortunately. And all this talk of Jihad and what not is a load of crap...it's just a guise for yet another political scam. Everyone's fighting for something alright...it just aint worth a damn! - great movie though (^_^)

Greatest of All-Time!

Rivers, ponds, lakes and streams - they all have different names, but they all contain water. Just as religions do - they all contain truths.
